Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a large-scale banking technology project in Wrocław. The role focuses on building and operating Java microservices with REST APIs, event-driven/distributed systems, and production PostgreSQL on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
• Build event-driven architecture and distributed systems
• Work with production PostgreSQL and Azure Database for PostgreSQL (Flexible Server)
• Operate services on AKS/Kubernetes
• Integrate messaging using Azure Service Bus and Kafka
• Implement database migrations with Liquibase and CI/CD pipelines
• Support observability and production operations using Azure Monitor and Key Vault, including Linux troubleshooting

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs
• Extensive production PostgreSQL experience
• Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server
• AKS / Kubernetes
• Azure Service Bus and Kafka
• Event-driven architecture and distributed systems
• Liquibase and CI/CD database migrations
• Azure Monitor, Key Vault, observability, and Linux troubleshooting
• Minimum 10 years experience is mandatory
• 3 days onsite in Wrocław (non-negotiable)
• Valid right to work in Poland; work permits must have at least 12 months remaining
• Background verification required
