Description

Lead the design and development of Java + Angular applications in an international, long-term program. You will own architecture for frontend, backend, and database components, build and secure REST/SOAP APIs, and modernize legacy systems while providing mentoring and code review. The role also supports practical AI usage for development and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java + Angular applications
• Design application and frontend/backend/database components
• Develop and secure REST/SOAP APIs
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Develop Angular applications using eUI
• Design and build CI/CD processes
• Deploy applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitoring and observability
• Lead code review and provide technical support to the team
• Modernize legacy applications
• Mentoring and technical support for developers
• Use AI in software development and testing workflows

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT/software development experience
• 9+ years of Java experience
• 8+ years of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience
• 10+ years of SQL experience, including 3+ years with Oracle
• Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and/or jOOQ
• 5+ years of Spring Boot (or similar Java framework) experience
• Experience designing application architecture and components
• Strong REST API knowledge and experience with SOAP Web Services
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana
• Practical knowledge of Angular and eUI framework
• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and RBAC
• Knowledge of OWASP and Secure SDLC
• 7+ years of technical leadership/mentoring/code review
• Practical use of AI in software development (e.g., code generation, Java migration, automated testing)
