Description

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services supporting large-scale digital banking platforms. Own backend testing activities (unit, integration, and API tests) to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance, and contribute across the full SDLC. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, customer-focused solutions using AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services for digital banking platforms

• Own backend testing within the Agile team to ensure quality, reliability, and performance

• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and API tests for continuous delivery

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Participate in technical analysis, solution design, and architectural discussions

• Contribute across implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement

• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency and automate routine tasks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development with a strong focus on Java backend development

• Java (JDK 21+), Spring Boot 3.5; knowledge of newer versions (JDK 25+, Spring Boot 4.x)

• Git, Maven, OpenAPI (Swagger)

• CI/CD pipelines and release procedures using Jenkins

• Unit and integration testing with JUnit 5, AssertJ, WireMock

• SQL, JDBC, Spring Template, Hibernate ORM

• IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio Code; API testing tools (Bruno, IntelliJ HTTP Client, Postman)

• JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 2+

• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools for development, testing, and automation
