Description

You will develop and maintain Go-based microservices that serve as the central backend for self-service applications. The role includes building REST APIs and integrations (e.g., streaming, billing, payments, business APIs), implementing secure authentication/authorization (SAML, ORY Fosite), and ensuring stable data, caching, and service observability (MongoDB, BigCache, nginx, OpenTelemetry). You will also perform software archaeology to understand an existing system with limited documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain working microservices in Go for self-service backend
• Implement designed REST APIs and integrations across multiple business domains
• Provide authentication and authorization mechanisms (SAML, ORY Fosite)
• Ensure stable data and cache layers (MongoDB, BigCache) and nginx configuration
• Add observability using OpenTelemetry
• Reconstruct system knowledge from source code when documentation is limited

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience and practical Go (Golang) knowledge
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Experience with microservices architecture (on-premise and internal cloud)
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms: SAML, ORY Fosite
• Practical knowledge of MongoDB, BigCache, and nginx
• Experience implementing service observability with OpenTelemetry
• Ability to learn an existing system with limited documentation (software archaeology)
