Backend Developer (Go)

Description

This project focuses on developing and maintaining a microservices-based backend platform used for mobile and web self-service services. You will deliver working Go microservices, REST APIs and integrations (including streaming, billing, and payments), implement secure authentication and authorization (SAML, ORY Fosite), and ensure stable data and caching layers.

You will also provide observability with OpenTelemetry and rebuild system understanding from the existing codebase with limited documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain Go microservices forming the backend for self-service applications (mobile and web)
• Implement REST APIs and integrations for areas such as streaming, billing, payments, and business APIs
• Build secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (SAML, ORY Fosite)
• Ensure stable data and cache layers (MongoDB, BigCache) and configure nginx
• Provide observability using OpenTelemetry
• Reconstruct knowledge of the existing system from its code (software archaeology)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience and practical Go (Golang) knowledge
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Experience with microservices architecture in on-premise and internal cloud environments
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms: SAML, ORY Fosite
• Practical knowledge of MongoDB, BigCache, and nginx
• Experience implementing observability with OpenTelemetry
• Ability to independently understand a system with limited documentation (software archaeology)
