Description

Help build, run, and scale an Azure cloud platform with a focus on administration, infrastructure management, and deployments.

Maintain Azure infrastructure centered on AKS, manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, and build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Improve container workflows, observability (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana), and drive security and cost best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Azure infrastructure with AKS

• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform to keep environments consistent

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions

• Build and optimize Docker images and container workflows

• Set up and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana)

• Drive security and cost best practices across the cloud environment

• Perform day-to-day Microsoft/Entra ID administration (users, groups, access, app registrations)

• Support developers and data engineers with tooling, troubleshooting, and production incidents

Requirements

• 5+ years in a Sys Admin/DevOps/Platform role

• Solid hands-on experience with Azure and production workloads on AKS

• Knowledge of Kubernetes: Helm, ingress, networking, RBAC

• Strong experience with Docker: efficient Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, image security

• Hands-on experience with Terraform: modules, state management, workspaces

• Experience building CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions

• Basic Microsoft administration skills including Microsoft Entra ID (users and groups, RBAC, app registrations, service principals, managed identities)

• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python

• Pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset

Nice to have

• GitOps tools (Argo CD / Flux)

• Experience with service mesh, Key Vault, or policy tooling (OPA / Azure Policy)
