Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, DevSecOps practices (security testing, vulnerability and secret management, and IAM controls), and secure, highly available cloud operations. You will also support zero-downtime database schema updates and automate operational workflows using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to enable frictionless code releases

• Provision and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure using Terraform

• Embed security into the SDLC using automated security testing (SAST/DAST), vulnerability management, secret management, and identity/access controls (IAM)

• Manage and optimize secure, highly available Microsoft Azure environments

• Implement automated database schema updates with zero-downtime releases using tools such as Alembic (Python)

• Automate operational tasks, infrastructure provisioning, and integration workflows using Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Monitor system health and performance; set up alerting and resolve bottlenecks

• Enforce Git best practices, including branching strategies, code review processes, and repository governance

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience deploying and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure

• Demonstrated experience setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

• Proficiency with Terraform for declarative infrastructure management

• Practical DevSecOps experience integrating security scanning and compliance checks into automated deployments

• Strong scripting/coding capability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Solid understanding of database schema version control and zero-downtime migration practices (e.g., Alembic)

• Advanced expertise with Git, repository administration, branch protection rules, and merge strategies

• Experience with cloud monitoring, APM tools, log aggregation, and troubleshooting distributed applications
