Description

The Database Operations Support Specialist oversees daily database operations, monitors database health, and analyzes L2/L3 issues. You will coordinate operating system migrations (Windows Server 2016 to 2022) and database engine updates for Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, while providing hands-on operational support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily database health and analyze L2/L3 issues

• Coordinate Windows Server migrations and database engine updates for Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL

• Provide hands-on support for operational tasks

• Collaborate with local business owners and operations teams to assess dependencies and ensure updates do not disrupt business applications

• Provide database support across Central European sites with regional server and infrastructure leads

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in database operations

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle

• Strong hands-on knowledge of MS SQL Server

• Strong hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Solid experience with Windows Server 2016/2022

• Fluent English for communication in an international team
