Description

Use Databricks (or a similar cloud-based data platform) to access, analyze, and prepare datasets that support technology, audit, and internal control activities. Extract, transform, and manipulate data using SQL and/or Python, maintain and extend existing scripts, and create audit-ready data inputs with clear logic and assumptions. Build or support visualizations (e.g., Power BI) and automate recurring routines using PowerShell while documenting work in collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Use Databricks to access, analyze, and prepare datasets for audit and control activities

• Perform data extraction and transformation using SQL and/or Python from relational databases

• Maintain/enhance existing queries and scripts; design new ones for new requirements

• Produce structured, audit-ready inputs for auditors and control owners with explanations of logic, filters, and assumptions

• Build/support dashboards and management information using Power BI and ControlRight

• Collaborate with Tech Leaders and SMEs to clarify requirements and validate outputs in English

• Document deliverables, approaches, and updates in Confluence (or similar)

• Automate recurring data workflows using PowerShell (or similar) to improve efficiency and reduce risk

• Support work aligned to IT audit, compliance, and internal control expectations (evidence preparation and control data requests)

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Databricks or a similar cloud-based data platform

• Solid knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data extraction and manipulation (especially with relational databases)

• Proven ability to work efficiently with existing queries/scripts and create custom scripts from scratch

• Strong analytical thinking to structure reliable, consistent data inputs for auditors/control owners

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, ControlRight)

• Strong English communication skills

• Familiarity with Confluence (or similar) for documentation and task tracking
