Description

You will define the target application architecture and technology roadmap for systems supporting the National Power Grid.

You will set architectural standards for APIs, integrations, data, security, cloud, and CI/CD, and ensure safe AI tool usage across design, implementation, testing, code reviews, and documentation.

You will design AI model-based solutions for critical infrastructure constraints and lead architectural reviews, technology evaluation, technical-debt reduction, and mentoring of technical leaders.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years as Solution Architect / Lead Architect / Senior Tech Lead

• Experience designing complex distributed systems and practical programming experience (preferred Java)

• Very good knowledge of UML and C4, and practical experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect

• Ability to communicate architecture to both technical and business audiences

• Knowledge of architectural styles and communication protocols: Microservices, REST, Event-Driven; HTTP, AMQP, Kafka

• Practical SQL database knowledge (e.g., Oracle)

• Experience with container platforms (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or Nomad)

• Experience defining architectural standards, running architecture reviews, and managing technical debt
