Description

Design, modify, and maintain business reports and applications using Power BI and Databricks. Work in a Databricks/dbt environment to develop and maintain data processing pipelines, build SQL-based data models/data marts, and support AI Agent development within Databricks. Optimize processes, ensure data quality, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and maintain business reports and applications in Power BI and Databricks
• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines in Databricks/dbt
• Build and collaborate on AI Agents within the Databricks environment
• Prepare and modify SQL scripts for data modeling
• Identify data sources and build ETL processes
• Create datasets that meet reporting needs and address systemic issues
• Develop and maintain project documentation
• Apply best practices, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize processes
• Mentor team members and support their technical growth
• Plan and track tasks using Jira to ensure efficient delivery

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization, and analytics
• Proficiency in data modeling, process optimization, and building data marts
• Advanced Power BI knowledge: DAX, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, T-SQL
• Advanced Databricks knowledge: Lakeflow Pipelines, Metric Views, optimization techniques
• Power BI environment management using .pbip files with version control (e.g., Git)
• Understanding of DevOps practices and hands-on collaboration in process automation (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)
• Practical experience in cloud environments (Databricks, Azure)
• Experience implementing data quality controls and validation processes
• Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies
• Familiarity with Data Governance concepts and Data Mesh architecture
