Description

Join the Wi‑Fi software development team to design, develop, and optimize Wi‑Fi networking subsystem software across Apple products including iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. You will work across software stacks (frameworks and APIs, UI, OS services, and drivers) and own the full development lifecycle from ideation through testing and success measurement. The role requires balancing tradeoffs such as ease of use, performance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Wi‑Fi networking subsystem software

• Optimize and productize Wi‑Fi features collaboratively with hardware and software teams

• Drive the full software development cycle: ideation, design, implementation, testing, and measuring feature impact

• Make intelligent compromises across competing factors (usability, performance, efficiency)

Requirements

• 5+ years experience developing software using C/C++ or Objective-C/Swift

• Experience with UNIX systems and deep understanding of operating system fundamentals

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, programming, and debugging skills

• Exposure to networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, etc.)

• Exposure to AI/ML tools

• English language proficiency
