Description

The RN Informaticist provides leadership in the planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of hardware and software systems integrated with the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Working with interdisciplinary teams across VA facilities and VISNs, you will perform core informatics functions such as content management and application support. The role optimizes health information technology and manages enterprise data to improve complex program or service outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of EHR-integrated hardware and software systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and program/service leaders to support informatics initiatives
• Perform informatics functions including content management and application support
• Lead health IT system optimization and enterprise data management
• Support business architecture management and partnership management
• Maintain effective relationships across the VA health system
• Ensure high-quality documentation and accountability for program- and service-level outcomes
