Description

Join an Agile team designing and developing high-quality, scalable systems. Collaborate with business users to refine requirements, build core Java solutions, integrate with message-oriented middleware, and support quality with unit and acceptance/behavior-driven tests. Most of your time will be spent on active development to deliver robust solutions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Refine system requirements with business users and team members
• Design and develop scalable core Java solutions
• Integrate systems with message-oriented middleware platforms
• Participate in Agile practices (stand-ups, pair programming)
• Write comprehensive unit tests and acceptance/behavior-driven tests
• Collaborate on a shared codebase using continuous integration
• Contribute to the production support rotation
• Deliver well-structured, efficient code within timelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with core Java for enterprise solutions
• 2+ years of professional experience using Scala or another functional programming language
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments
• Strong foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Hands-on experience writing unit and acceptance/behavior-driven tests
• Experience collaborating on shared codebases under continuous integration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or a related technical field (preferred)
