Description

You will build and maintain a cloud-native, interactive, data-driven web platform used for daily, monthly, and quarterly valuation and asset management of credit investments. The platform integrates multiple pricing sources, applies pricing rules, tracks approvals, and feeds downstream processing and reporting systems. You’ll design microservices/function-based backend services on Microsoft Azure and develop a responsive Angular-based UI with strong performance, accessibility, testing, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex business processes and design a platform that matches valuation and workflow needs

• Build cloud-native applications using microservices, function apps, and cloud databases (Microsoft tech stack)

• Develop responsive, scalable UI components (Angular/TypeScript) using libraries such as DevExpress, AG Grid, Bootstrap, and jQuery

• Optimize performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance

• Build reusable UI components and influence frontend architecture

• Integrate frontend with APIs and backend logic

• Implement and debug full-stack applications with C#, .NET, SQL Server, Angular, and Azure services

• Create unit and automated test frameworks for backend and frontend (NUnit/XUnit/Moq; Jasmine/Karma)

• Participate in code reviews and improve engineering best practices

• Manage automated testing strategies and collaborate on QA for release reliability

• Track delivery status using Azure Boards and support data governance initiatives

• Maintain communication with business and technology partners and support continuous improvement

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience

• Expertise in cloud-native application design and building (microservices, function apps, cloud databases) on the Microsoft tech stack

• Expertise in .NET stack (e.g., .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, LINQ, EntitySQL, Dapper)

• Expertise building REST/SOAP services

• Strong SQL Server database design/development skills (DDL/DML, tables/views, stored procedures/functions, indexes, dynamic SQL, performance optimization)

• Experience with Azure services: App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus/Event Grid/Event Hub, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure API Management

• Security/compliance experience: Azure AD authentication, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and RBAC

• Observability experience: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics

• Messaging/event-driven architecture expertise: Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub

• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies

• Ability to manage global teams

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science/Data Science/Finance or related); Master’s degree is a plus

• Finance/asset management domain experience is a plus
