• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM; 4–5 days/week

• Coverage: Clinic only (no call, no weekends)

• Patient Volume: ~7–10 patients/day

• On-Treatment Visits: 1 dedicated day/week for OT Vs (OTVs)

Description

Provide clinic-only Radiation Oncology coverage, including new consults, follow-ups, urgent add-on visits, and weekly on-treatment visits. Oversee active external beam radiation treatments across modern Varian platforms and approve treatment plans in a paperless workflow.

Responsibilities

• Oversee active external beam radiation treatments on Varian TrueBeam, Varian Trilogy, and Edge SRS

• Conduct new patient consults, simulations, follow-up evaluations, and urgent add-on visits

• Manage one dedicated weekly clinic day focused on OT Vs

• Collaborate on HDR brachytherapy workflows as indicated using Elekta-Nucletron/Oncentra

• Perform volume contouring, review critical structures, and approve treatment plans in Varian ARIA

• Work within Epic and Varian ARIA fully integrated hospital systems

Requirements

• ACGME/AOA-accredited Radiation Oncology residency

• Board Certified (ABR or AOBR)

• Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license

• Current BLS and ABLS

• Documented proficiency in Varian TrueBeam, Varian Trilogy, Edge SRS, Vision RT/OSMS, Varian ARIA, and Epic

• Immediate availability for fast-track 20-day credentialing

• Orientation required prior to Dec 27 (ideally scheduled the week before assignment start)

• Ongoing availability for 4–5 days/week coverage
