Description

Opportunity for a dynamic, clinically excellent hematologist/oncologist to help launch and grow a new practice location in Columbia, South Carolina. The role combines outpatient clinic and infusion-suite responsibilities, with opportunities to participate in clinical trials and weekly tumor conferences. The practice also provides robust resources including onsite lab processing and access to patient navigation, oncology dietician, social work, and genetic counseling services.

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient clinic and infusion-suite patients on a weekly schedule
• Participate in weekly tumor conferences with radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists
• Support and participate in clinical research trials
• Provide call coverage on an approximately 1:11 rotation

Requirements

• Hematology/Oncology clinical experience
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary, patient-centric, growing environment
• Ability to manage outpatient clinic and infusion suite workflows
• Willingness to participate in weekly tumor conferences
• Interest/ability to participate in clinical research trials
