Description

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to provide specialized medical care related to the digestive system and associated organs. You will conduct diagnostic evaluations, ensure HIPAA compliance, manage medical office operations, and coordinate with primary care and neurology specialists. The position also includes providing basic life support in emergency situations and performing phlebotomy when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations for patients with gastrointestinal disorders
• Perform esthetic laser treatments as needed
• Collaborate with primary care physicians for comprehensive patient care
• Provide basic life support in emergency situations
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Apply knowledge of ICU protocols and procedures
• Code diagnoses accurately using ICD-10
• Manage medical office operations efficiently
• Perform phlebotomy procedures when necessary
• Coordinate with neurology specialists for integrated patient care

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Gastroenterology
• Valid medical license in the state of practice
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
• Experience working in a medical office setting
• Ability to phlebotomize patients effectively
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
