Description

Lead technical ownership for SAP S/4HANA finance areas (FI, CO, PTP, OTC, Treasury) and how they connect with external and in-house systems.

Define and maintain integration standards (interface/API guidelines, master/reference data rules, monitoring) and set quality gates across testing, UAT, go-live preparation, and service levels.

Oversee delivery by internal teams and external implementation partners and act as the main technical counterpart for Finance, Controlling, SAP CoE, global architects, and country roll-out leads.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical setup of SAP S/4HANA finance domains and their integration patterns

• Shape and maintain the SAP landscape, including links to external applications and internal platforms (e.g., warehouse and courier systems)

• Design a structured approach for managing integrations: interface and API guidelines, master and reference data rules, monitoring practices

• Set quality gates and delivery checkpoints across testing, UAT, go-live preparation, and service levels

• Oversee internal teams and external implementation partners to keep scope, timelines, costs, and quality on track

• Ensure technical documentation is complete, up to date, and produced to an agreed standard

• Act as the main technical counterpart for Finance, Controlling, the SAP CoE, global architects, and country roll-out leads

Requirements

• Solid background managing technology programs or projects in an SAP environment

• Practical, hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP / Integration Suite

• Track record of planning and running integrations between SAP and surrounding or in-house applications

• Good understanding of integration technologies: APIs, middleware, event streaming (Kafka), EDI, and bank connectivity

• Experience steering vendors and system integrators and holding them accountable for delivery

• Confidence in running quality gates and monitoring delivery against agreed service levels

• Comfort moving between technical architecture discussions and day-to-day program control

• Ability to introduce structure and standards while keeping live roll-outs moving

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ITIL practices

• Excellent command of English (C1 or higher)
