Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance solutions that process large volumes of data near real-time. The platform refreshes data up to every second, supports two-year data retention, archives data, and integrates with communication systems such as RabbitMQ, while meeting high availability, performance, and scalability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize near real-time ETL processes for millions of messages per day

• Build and maintain PostgreSQL data architecture (partitioning, indexes)

• Implement business logic in the database layer using PL/pgSQL (procedures, functions, triggers)

• Perform performance tuning and monitoring (execution plan analysis, SQL optimization, index tuning)

• Design high-availability, scalable solutions and integrate with messaging systems (RabbitMQ)

Requirements

• Experience with PostgreSQL and strong SQL knowledge

• Practical PL/pgSQL knowledge (procedures, functions, triggers)

• Experience with relational data modeling, normalization, and denormalization

• Experience working with large data volumes and high-availability systems

• Experience optimizing SQL queries, ETL processes, and database performance

• Ability to analyze execution plans, tune indexes, and monitor PostgreSQL

• Knowledge of Linux

• Technical or STEM higher education

• English proficiency at least B2
