Description

Design and implement a relational data mart (without a data lake) with a SQL-focused approach. Build and maintain ETL processes in SSIS integrating Oracle, SQL Server, Kafka, and JSON/XML/TXT files. Create the database layer for Power BI and SSRS—tables, views, and stored procedures—while handling transformations, validations, and data mappings to the target relational model.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a relational data mart optimized for analytics

• Develop and maintain SSIS ETL pipelines integrating multiple data sources

• Create data layers to support Power BI and SSRS reporting (tables, views, stored procedures)

• Implement data transformations, validations, and mappings to the target relational model

• Diagnose production issues, optimize pipelines, and ensure data quality before impacting users

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and very strong T-SQL (procedures, functions, views) plus query tuning

• Very good hands-on experience with SSIS: design, monitoring, diagnostics, and maintenance of ETL processes

• Practical experience designing data warehouses, data marts, and relational models optimized for analytics

• Experience integrating Oracle, SQL Server, Kafka, and JSON/XML/TXT files (data parsing robustness is a plus)

• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, document solutions, and troubleshoot in test and production environments
