Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and optimize scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Azure

• Lead Snowflake architecture initiatives for performance, scalability, and security best practices

• Conduct Snowflake data platform assessments, particularly in security and scalability areas

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or Bicep

• Leverage Snowflake AI capabilities (e.g., Cortex AI) to enhance data solutions

• Develop and maintain robust data models to support analytics and business intelligence

• Define and enforce data security standards (access controls, encryption, auditability)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to data engineering teams

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering roles

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and Azure

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Snowflake architect

• Proven Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or Bicep)

• Strong understanding of Azure cloud architecture

• Deep knowledge of Snowflake security and data protection mechanisms

• Advanced data modeling skills

• Experience assessing and optimizing Snowflake platforms for security and scalability

• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
