Description

The Data Engineer will drive digital transformation in the automotive sector by developing advanced data solutions that improve decision-making across teams. Responsibilities include collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing large datasets, implementing data solutions on Palantir Foundry or internal AI solutions, and ensuring strong data quality. You will also build data pipelines and prepare data for predictive modeling and functional analysis while collaborating with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect, store, process, and analyze large datasets for strategic decisions

• Collaborate with global teams to propose and test data solutions

• Implement data solutions primarily on Palantir Foundry or internal AI solutions

• Ensure data quality and troubleshoot data-related issues

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, documentation, and data definitions

• Prepare data for predictive modeling and support functional analysis

• Stay current with new tools and promote best practices for sustainable data platforms

• Facilitate knowledge transfer and communicate effectively across departments

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years experience in data mining from varied data sources

• Proficiency in implementing data flows and automation between data sources

• Hands-on experience with PySpark and Spark

• Strong understanding of data quality assurance and problem analysis
