Description

Design and build interactive dashboards and semantic models to deliver actionable business insights. Own metric and KPI development, scalable data models, and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines across BigQuery, dbt, and Dataiku, while maintaining accuracy, accessibility, governance, and visualization performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
• Develop new metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators in collaboration with business units.
• Design, maintain, and optimize complex unified/dimensional data models (relationships, grain, dimensional structures).
• Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataiku.
• Develop and maintain dbt projects: models, sources, documentation, lineage, reusable transformations, and automated data quality tests.
• Write, review, and optimize advanced SQL queries for extraction, transformation, modeling, and reporting on BigQuery.
• Use Python for data processing, automation, integration, and engineering tasks.
• Work with the GCP data ecosystem including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer/Airflow, IAM, and related services.
• Use Terraform and Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage GCP resources and data platform jobs.
• Implement data quality, governance, metadata, cataloging, documentation, and lineage practices across the data lifecycle.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, semantic models, and deployment processes with security and access controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in similar responsibilities.
• English proficiency (C1).
• Strong experience building dashboards, semantic models, and visualizations using Power BI.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX and Power BI workspace management.
• Proven experience with data modeling (complex analytical models, dimensional/unified models, relationships, grain, key strategies).
• Strong experience with dbt (model development, documentation, data catalog/metadata, lineage, testing, data quality practices).
• Hands-on experience with Dataiku for engineering, preparation, transformation, and data quality assessment.
• Excellent SQL skills, including complex transformations and query optimization.
• Proficient Python for data transformation, automation, and integration.
• Strong GCP experience, especially BigQuery and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and provisioning/managing GCP resources and data platform jobs.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, lineage, and documentation.
• Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
