Description

You will lead system analysis for data warehouse, data lake, and data integration solutions built on Google Cloud Platform. You will design GCP-based components (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL), translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams, and create system/technical documentation. You will also design data integration flows and ETL/ELT pipelines, including API- and message-queue-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system analysis for data warehouse, Data Lake, and data integration solutions

• Design GCP-based solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and requirements for developers

• Analyze and design data models for DWH, ODS, and Data Lake/Lakehouse architecture

• Design data integration processes and ETL/ELT data pipelines

• Develop system, functional, and technical documentation

• Create specifications for processing and data sharing

• Design integrations between systems using REST API, SOAP, data exchange files, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub) and microservices

• Prepare and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation

• Define non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria

• Analyze XML/XSD formats and design relational models based on data schemas

• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders

• Support project teams during design, implementation, testing, and deployment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of system analyst experience

• Minimum 5 years in data integration, data warehouse, Data Lake, or data platform projects

• Practical experience designing solutions using Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL)

• Very good knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Experience in data modeling for DWH, ODS, and Lakehouse

• Experience designing ETL/ELT and data flows

• Knowledge of integration patterns for API/file/queue/microservice-based integrations

• Ability to create analytical, system, and technical documentation

• Experience preparing Source-to-Target Mapping (STM)

• Knowledge of UML and tools for process/system modeling

• Experience with Jira and Confluence

• Ability to independently lead system analysis in complex projects

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Very good knowledge of Polish and English
