Description

You will take technical responsibility for developing, maintaining, and stabilizing an advanced Jira Cloud solution spanning Jira Service Management and Jira Software. The role focuses on analyzing requirements, designing configuration, and building automations that support business processes. You will also investigate production issues, document changes, and support migrations and releases.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Jira Cloud environments (Jira Software and Jira Service Management)

• Configure and develop workflows, request types, custom fields, screens, and forms

• Manage permission schemes, project roles, and notifications

• Create, develop, and optimize automations in Jira Automation

• Analyze and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis

• Support users and act as the technical escalation point

• Evaluate the impact of changes on existing configuration and recommend optimal solutions

• Document configuration, automations, dependencies, and changes

• Collaborate on Jira Cloud migrations and configuration moves between environments

• Participate in testing, deployments, and hypercare after releases

Requirements

• 4–5+ years experience as Jira Administrator, Jira Specialist, or Atlassian Consultant

• Very good knowledge of Jira Cloud (Jira Software and Jira Service Management)

• Practical experience with workflows, request types, custom fields, field configurations, and conditional forms

• Advanced knowledge of Jira Automation

• Experience managing permissions, project roles, and notifications

• Experience maintaining and supporting production environments

• Ability to diagnose problems and perform root cause analysis

• Experience creating technical and configuration documentation

• Independence and ability to assess change impact on existing solutions
