Description

Shape the technical direction of projects by designing scalable, maintainable, secure solutions aligned with customer and business goals. Own project architecture, produce architectural documentation and technical recommendations, and guide development teams and stakeholders through solution design and delivery. Support discovery workshops and technical proposals and help define standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve software architectures using AS-IS and TO-BE approaches
• Own project-level architecture ensuring scalability, maintainability, security, and alignment with customer goals
• Create architectural documentation, diagrams, recommendations, and solution designs
• Make architectural decisions and guide development teams throughout the lifecycle
• Support sales/consulting activities: discovery workshops, technical proposals, solution explanations
• Define technical standards and best practices and ensure adoption
• Identify dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with customer architects, Product Owners, Project Managers, and other stakeholders
• Provide architectural guidance across multiple development teams
• Participate in technical workshops and architecture discussions with customers
• Lead estimation activities (detailed and high-level effort estimates)
• Mentor and develop internal architecture competencies through coaching and Architecture Guild activities

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional IT experience including significant software development and architecture work
• Proven experience as a Software Architect, IT Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Designer with architectural responsibility
• Practical experience designing AS-IS and TO-BE architecture components and translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience owning architecture at the project level and supporting implementation
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles
• Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns
• Clean Code and engineering best practices
• System integration patterns
• Scalability, performance, availability, and reliability considerations
• Experience making architectural decisions and presenting recommendations to stakeholders
• Experience working with development teams and guiding engineers in solution design
• Ability to understand business context and connect IT architecture with business strategy
• Experience collaborating directly with customers or external stakeholders
• Understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, version control)
• Experience in consulting or project-based environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• English proficiency (B2/C1 or higher)
