• Role: Digital Transformation Solution Architect (m/w/d)

Description

Translate business requirements into scalable IT solutions for complex production processes, aligned with company goals, architecture standards, and technological/regulatory constraints (e.g., NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443). Work closely with the architecture team to standardize IT across plants and advise stakeholders (key users through management) on digitalization and automation. Analyze current (IST) architectures, define target architectures, and create migration and transformation roadmaps, leading transformation projects to standardized, site-independent platforms while managing scope, budget, timeline, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Convert business requirements into scalable IT solutions for production environments
• Coordinate with the enterprise architecture team for cross-site IT standardization
• Advise stakeholders on digitization and process automation
• Provide architecture consulting for shopfloor communication and security (IT/OT)
• Perform IST analysis, define target architecture, identify action areas
• Create migration/transformation roadmaps for existing and new production solutions
• Lead transformation of existing applications into standardized, cross-site platforms as IT project lead
• Ensure delivery of scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar
• Proven experience in architecture and software engineering
• Knowledge/certification in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and architecture tools (e.g., LeanIX) preferred
• Strong stakeholder communication from shopfloor to C-level
• Experience with shopfloor applications (e.g., MES/COTS) and electronics domain knowledge preferred
• OT security standards knowledge (e.g., IEC 62443) preferred
• Experience in classical and agile IT project leadership and requirements management
• Strategic consulting mindset with strong implementation capability
• Analytical, structured approach
• German and English proficiency (minimum B2)
