Description

Join a long-term project building and maintaining modern cloud-native platforms and database solutions. The role covers OpenShift/Kubernetes administration, Kubernetes-hosted PostgreSQL (CNPG/EDB Postgres) operations, and operational practices across HA, backups, GitOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and security.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes environments

• Install, configure, and manage the lifecycle of OpenShift clusters

• Manage PostgreSQL databases running on Kubernetes (CNPG / EDB Postgres)

• Configure and maintain high-availability solutions (failover, switchover, replication)

• Manage backup and recovery using Barman, S3, and WAL archiving

• Implement and maintain GitOps using Argo CD

• Create and support CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and OpenShift

• Monitor, log, troubleshoot, and optimize platform service performance

• Apply security best practices across containerized environments

Requirements

• Hands-on experience administering OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms

• Strong understanding of containerized environments, networking, storage, and RBAC

• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps practices

• Experience managing PostgreSQL databases in Kubernetes environments

• Knowledge of Git, GitLab, and infrastructure automation

• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar)

• Understanding of security best practices in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
