Description

As a Software Engineer in the DHP team, you’ll connect infrastructure and development by understanding pain points, designing solutions, and shipping developer tools that improve speed and happiness for other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners to understand requirements and break them down into focused deliverables.
• Design and build robust, scalable microservices with strong observability and supportability, using DevOps and Agile principles.
• Own deliverables end-to-end—from design through deployment—and meet agreed timelines.
• Provide rapid production support, perform root cause analysis on incidents, and drive long-term fixes.
• Serve as a trusted technical consultant for platform users; resolve queries and unblock teams quickly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and coordinate stakeholders to keep the platform evolving.
• Proactively manage technical debt and keep security and vulnerability posture strong.
• Mentor junior developers and promote a high-performing team culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
• Deep knowledge of how the internet and HTTP work: DNS, TLS, load balancing, reverse proxies, service meshes, and API gateways.
• Programming skills (structured and OOP) in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Clojure.
• Hands-on monitoring and observability experience with Grafana and InfluxDB; familiarity with time-series databases and data visualization.
• Proactive problem-solving and ability to identify performance bottlenecks early.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
