Senior SRE Engineer

Quick Facts - Role: Senior SRE Engineer Description Own resolution of complex production access, ServiceNow change, and incidents as a senior technical authority. Design and provision GCP infrastructure, permissions, and IT access groups with least-privilege and audit-ready controls, and lead observability strategy by defining high-impact alerts and durable instrumentation fixes. Provide senior escalation and leadership across application management, SRE team execution, and operations policy/reporting. Responsibilities - Resolve complex access, ServiceNow change, and incident issues; lead escalation when others cannot - Architect GCP infrastructure and govern permissions/IT access groups end-to-end - Drive observability by synthesizing stakeholder feedback into new alerts and refined alerting rules - Participate in major incident calls; implement durable observability fixes to prevent recurrence - Advise on next-generation observability and instrumentation strategy across the platform - Own system-of-record for critical applications (Observability Hub, SRE Agent) ensuring accuracy/compliance - Architect and govern access management for observability platform, Logscale, and SRE AI agents - Evolve ServiceNow form templates to match changing product needs - Shape and own the SRE team backlog; translate strategic priorities into engineering work - Lead PI/sprint planning, negotiate cross-team dependencies, run standups and grooming - Unblock engineers on tough technical challenges - Analyze incident data across IMS products to identify systemic risks and improvements - Represent team in observability boards; partner with cross-functional teams to launch initiatives - Provide executive-level reporting on operational health and performance - Own and evolve operations policies and govern ServiceNow assignment group ownership Requirements - Observability & instrumentation mastery: hands-on alerting strategy, signal-to-noise tuning, root-cause-preventive fixes - Incident command & escalation leadership: senior/second-level escalation experience; resolve complex ambiguous production issues; mentor others - Agile technical leadership: backlog ownership; PI/sprint planning; grooming/daily meeting leadership; unblock engineers - Cross-functional data-driven communication: analyze incident/operational data; translate into reporting/policy; drive multi-team initiatives - Cloud infrastructure & IAM expertise: design/provision/govern cloud infrastructure and access controls at enterprise scale with security/compliance rigor Benefits - P&G-sized projects and access to world-leading IT partners and technologies from Day 1 - Training and certification paths for self-development - Competitive salary and benefits (private health care, P&G stock, saving plans, sport cards) - Regular salary increases and possible promotions based on results/performance - Opportunity to change role every few years
