Description

As a Backend Developer, you will shape the future of key STACKIT Storage products across the full lifecycle, building high-automation self-service capabilities with REST APIs in a Kubernetes-based environment using Golang.

You will optimize the products continuously, support implementation of stable software architecture, and coordinate technical and functional alignment across related STACKIT services for seamless integration (e.g., portal, Terraform provider, central IAM). You will share end-to-end responsibility for the services delivered to customers, supported by internal service teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and continuously improve cloud storage services (e.g., object storage) across the full product lifecycle

• Develop REST API–based self-services using Golang in a Kubernetes environment

• Participate in backend product optimization and ongoing engineering improvements

• Collaborate on software architecture implementation with your team

• Coordinate integration with STACKIT services (e.g., STACKIT Portal, Terraform Provider, central STACKIT IAM)

• Take end-to-end ownership of customer-facing services with support from internal service teams
