Description

Own end-to-end program delivery for cloud and data initiatives on GCP, including governance, risk management, and escalations. Lead architectural decisions across cloud, data, security, and compliance, authoring design records and evaluating technical trade-offs. Provide hands-on guidance to engineering squads while ensuring solutions meet strict regulatory standards (GxP, compliance, auditability).

Responsibilities

• Own overall program delivery, governance, risk management, and escalations as the primary technical partner to client executives and principal engineers
• Drive architectural decisions across cloud, data, security, and compliance; author design records and evaluate technical trade-offs
• Provide hands-on guidance on GCP architecture, data platform implementations, and modern cloud engineering patterns
• Align business objectives with technical solutions and strict regulatory standards (GxP, compliance, auditability)
• Mentor cross-functional engineering squads and enforce modern engineering, CI/CD, and quality best practices

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in technical delivery leadership, cloud architecture, or data engineering
• Deep, hands-on experience designing and operating enterprise data and cloud solutions on GCP
• Proven engineering and architecture background with direct involvement in technical decision-making and implementation
• Track record delivering large-scale data platforms, pipelines, or lakehouse modernization
• Practical experience delivering systems under strict compliance frameworks (GxP, pharma, life sciences, healthcare, or financial services)
• Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to influence C-level stakeholders and collaborate with principal engineers
