Description

You will develop and maintain backend applications built with PHP and Symfony, extend the frontend using React, and design and develop REST APIs. The role includes writing unit tests, participating in code reviews, and working with CI/CD and build/deployment automation in a Docker-based environment. You will also keep technical documentation up to date.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP/Symfony backend applications
• Implement and extend the React frontend layer
• Design and build REST APIs
• Create unit tests and ensure code quality
• Participate in code reviews and verify technical solutions
• Work with CI/CD processes and automate build/deployment
• Use Docker and developer-environment support tools
• Prepare and update technical documentation
• Identify optimization areas and propose improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial software development with PHP 7+
• Very good knowledge of Symfony 4+ and experience building applications on this framework
• Knowledge of JavaScript and project patterns used in PHP and JavaScript
• Practical ability to design and implement REST API
• Knowledge of SQL and comfort working with databases
• Proficiency with Git
• Experience with GitLab, including GitLab CI/CD
• Practical ability to build frontend applications with React.js
• Experience writing unit tests for PHP (preferably PHPUnit) and frontend tests (e.g., Jest or Testing Library)
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose
