Description

You will develop and maintain backend applications based on PHP and Symfony, and extend the frontend using React. The role includes designing and developing REST APIs, improving code quality through unit testing, and participating in code reviews and technical validation. You will also work with CI/CD processes, Docker-based development tooling, and keep technical documentation up to date.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP/Symfony backend applications

• Implement and expand the React frontend layer

• Design and develop REST APIs

• Create unit tests and ensure code quality

• Participate in code review and technical solution verification

• Work with CI/CD processes and automate build and deployment

• Use Docker and developer-environment tooling (including Docker Compose)

• Prepare and update technical documentation

• Identify optimization opportunities and propose improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial software development using PHP 7+

• Very good knowledge of Symfony 4+ with practical experience using the framework

• Knowledge of JavaScript and design patterns used in PHP/JavaScript

• Practical REST API design and implementation experience

• SQL knowledge

• Strong Git skills

• Experience with GitLab, including GitLab CI/CD

• React.js frontend application development experience

• Unit testing experience for PHP (preferably PHPUnit) and tests for React (e.g., Jest or Testing Library)

• Practical Docker and Docker Compose experience
