Description

You’ll help build a reusable scoring and recommendations platform on GCP used across multiple client products. The role covers embeddable React frontend widgets and cloud-native backend services in Python or Java, including API integration between the two. You’ll contribute to replatforming work and grow quickly with mentorship from a senior developer.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable, embeddable UI widgets in React based on an existing Design System and provided designs

• Develop cloud-native backend services in Python or Java on GCP

• Contribute to replatforming an existing backend into a modern, multi-consumer cloud service

• Design and integrate APIs between frontend components and backend services

• Write clean, tested, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews

• Communicate progress, questions, and technical decisions clearly with the team and client

• Grow skills through close collaboration with and mentoring from a senior developer

Requirements

• Initial commercial experience as a fullstack or software developer (must-have)

• Knowledge of React and modern frontend development, including reusable components

• Knowledge of Python or Java for backend development

• Familiarity with GCP (or another cloud platform: Azure, AWS)

• Understanding of REST APIs and basic software engineering principles

• Self-reliance: independently work on assigned tasks and seek solutions

• Good communication skills and fluent English

• Eagerness to learn, curiosity, and proactive problem-solving
