• Role: Senior Java Developer

• Project: Build and integrate a new CRM system for a retail customer network

• Work mode: Hybrid (about 4 days/month from the client office in Warsaw)

Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend solutions for a new CRM system, including integration between services and business processes. The project uses microservices architecture, relational databases, and modern system-to-system communication mechanisms. You will also support code quality through reviews, refactoring, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the new CRM system

• Create and optimize database structures and SQL queries

• Design and develop integration mechanisms using REST and SOAP

• Develop services in a microservices architecture

• Apply design patterns and software engineering best practices

• Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and maintain code quality

• Collaborate with project teams on technical analysis and implementation

• Prepare and update technical documentation

Requirements

• Commercial senior-level experience in Java backend programming

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, including SQL, data modeling, indexes, transactions, and database locking

• Integration technologies: REST, JSON, SOAP Web Services, XML, XSD

• Experience designing and developing distributed applications with microservices architecture

• Knowledge of design and architectural patterns

• Code review experience with Git, Gerrit (or similar) and code refactoring

• Experience with Jira and Confluence

• English proficiency sufficient for reading and writing technical documentation
