Description

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices using Kotlin and Java as part of a high-performance translation layer for JSON/XML web service communications. Build and support RESTful APIs and integration components, ensuring reliable deployments through CI/CD and infrastructure integration on GCP. Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance while delivering clean, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Kotlin/Java microservices

• Build and support RESTful APIs, web service interfaces, and integration components

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

• Work with Linux-based virtualized environments, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize application performance

• Collaborate in an agile environment

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience as a Java or Kotlin Developer in complex software projects

• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java (willingness to code in Kotlin)

• Experience with Spring, REST services, Git, Maven, and Jenkins

• Hands-on development experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux/virtual machines

• Hybrid work availability (2–3 days/week from the Krakow office; CET time zone)

• Strong analytical thinking, task independence, excellent English communication, and a team-first mindset

• Legal work permit in Poland
