Description

Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native data models, backend solutions, and SQLScript to support analytics and complex business processes. Build and maintain ETL pipelines integrating SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other systems, ensuring data quality and high performance for large datasets. Work in Agile (SAFe) teams to deliver scalable data architectures, KPIs, and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript)
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable data flows and data architectures
• Develop end-to-end data workflows with monitoring, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution
• Support business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and insights powered by SAP HANA
• Optimize data processing performance for large datasets using SAP HANA in-memory capabilities
• Work with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) workflows including sprints, planning, and retrospectives
• Document and maintain technical best practices for key SAP HANA solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development or equivalent roles
• Proven hands-on expertise in SAP HANA native modeling (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, SQLScript)
• Experience with ETL workflows and data pipelines in SAP environments
• Familiarity integrating SAP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy systems into data workflows
• Expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• English proficiency (B2+)
