Description

You will build and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines and drive deployment, monitoring, and scaling on Azure. The role combines Kubernetes and container operations with Unix/Linux scripting and Python automation, and also expects you to understand Java code when needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery to Azure
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications (App Services, Azure SQL, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Manage and optimize Unix/Linux workloads with Shell/Bash scripting
• Develop Python automation tools and scripts to support DevOps processes
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production and development environments
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across environments
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (deployment and monitoring)
• Strong DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or similar)
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Shell/Bash scripting
• Knowledge of Python for automation and tooling
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across distributed systems
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
• Proficiency in Java (8/11/17)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep)
