Description

You will collaborate with an existing NLP Azure consultant to design and implement tenant/subscription and cross-tenant policy changes so NLP can operate as a resource domain for the customer.

The role includes enabling NLP permissions for customer resources and simplifying user management by removing the requirement for NLP accounts.

You will also reduce or dismantle Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) dependencies where applicable and deliver technical design, migration plans, and runbooks for cross-tenant governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement changes to Tenant/Subscriptions/CA policies to incorporate NLP as a resource domain for the customer

• Enable NLP to grant permissions to customer resources (applications, access) for customer accounts

• Simplify user management by removing the requirement for NLP accounts and improving user experience (work primarily from customer laptops)

• Reduce or dismantle Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) dependencies where applicable

• Work closely with customer AD team, NLP team, and customer Endpoint Management team to ensure seamless integration

• Provide technical design, migration plans, and runbooks for cross-tenant governance and access management

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID cross-tenant governance (B2B collaboration, B2B direct connect, trust settings including MFA and compliant device synchronization) between separate corporate tenants

• Deep understanding of external identities (guest accounts and cross-tenant synchronization lifecycle)

• Experience setting up Entra ID identity governance (entitlement management, access packages, Privileged Identity Management for external partners)

• Mastery of Azure architecture for multi-tenant management (management groups, custom RBAC roles, subscription-level permissions)

• Enterprise architecture experience aligning two distinct enterprise domains without security overlaps

• Understanding of endpoint management to validate cross-tenant device compliance (customer laptop compliance state)

• Strong background in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments, including session hosts and architectural knowledge to reduce AVD dependencies safely

• Ability to bridge communication gaps between customer AD, NLP, and endpoint management teams

• Competency in drafting technical designs, migration plans, and runbooks
