Description

Join a project focused on developing and maintaining a modern data platform and analytics ecosystem for large-scale data processing. You will be responsible for building ingestion, aggregation, and enrichment workflows, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability and security. The work includes integrating lookup capabilities, implementing RBAC access control, and using AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Apache Druid ingestion pipelines and create custom extensions.

• Integrate Apache Druid with external lookup systems.

• Build and maintain Kafka-based data pipelines.

• Contribute to streaming processing development with Apache Flink.

• Implement pre-aggregation and data enrichment processes.

• Optimize MySQL queries and improve database performance at high scale.

• Design metadata enrichment mechanisms across multiple data storage systems.

• Integrate and maintain RBAC access control mechanisms.

• Work with AWS services, especially S3, Aurora, and IAM.

• Collaborate with teams delivering the data platform and Lakehouse architecture.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Apache Druid, especially ingestion and extension development.

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines with Apache Kafka.

• Knowledge of Apache Flink (or similar) for stream processing.

• Very good MySQL knowledge, including query optimization and performance tuning for large data volumes.

• Experience implementing metadata enrichment mechanisms in data platforms.

• Experience integrating and maintaining RBAC in different data storage systems.

• Practical AWS knowledge, especially S3, Aurora, and IAM.

• Ability to solve complex engineering problems and collaborate with a team.
