Description

You will design and evolve the target architecture supporting an Agentic PDLC process across the full product and software lifecycle. You will translate the TO-BE process and priorities into architectural capabilities and technical requirements, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, auditable, reusable, and aligned with the enterprise architecture and the AI Platform direction.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the target Agentic PDLC architecture across the software/product lifecycle

• Translate TO-BE process, roadmap, and priorities into architectural capabilities and technical requirements

• Define responsibilities across solution layers: process, agents, IT4IT tools, AI Platform, data & knowledge, integrations, security, and observability

• Define target agent classes and agent workflows for analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance

• Ensure Agentic PDLC solutions align with enterprise architecture, the IT operating model, and the AI Platform roadmap

• Create architectural standards, design rules, reference patterns, and Architecture Decision Records

• Define standards for agent design (orchestration, tool calling, context, memory, RAG) and Human-in-the-Loop collaboration

• Define integration standards with backlog, code repositories, CI/CD, testing tools, technical documentation, observability, and ITSM

• Define reusability standards for components (connectors), prompts, agent templates, and deployment mechanisms

• Design the knowledge/data/integration architecture including context acquisition, structuring, versioning, retrieval/RAG, metadata, data quality, and access controls

• Set governance and quality-by-design requirements: security, data protection, compliance, auditability, testing/evaluation/monitoring, versioning, deployment/rollback, and production admission criteria

• Collaborate with Lead Agentic AI Engineer to turn architecture into technical solution designs; support pilots and validate alignment with the target model

• Identify elements to standardize and reuse vs build as one-off solutions; evaluate the impact of new AI models/frameworks/services/tools and update the reference architecture from pilot and production learnings

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Solution Architect, Software Architect, Enterprise Architect, Lead Engineer, or a similar role

• Hands-on experience designing architectures for complex IT solutions and integrated systems within the software engineering ecosystem

• Experience creating target architectures, standards, reference patterns, and Architecture Decision Records

• Experience collaborating with engineering teams, DevSecOps, Quality Assurance, Security, Data, Compliance, and platform owners

• Nice to have: Experience designing solutions based on generative AI, AI agents, or engineering process automation
