Description

You will design, build, and evolve AI agents that support each stage of the Product Development Lifecycle—from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and IT service management. The role includes implementing agent workflow/orchestration logic, integrating agents with PDLC and IT4IT tools, and building RAG-based solutions with strong attention to quality, security, observability, and Human-in-the-Loop controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and develop AI agents supporting PDLC phases: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Implement agent logic, workflow, and orchestration to automate work for product and technology teams
• Create multi-step agents and solutions coordinating AI components with PDLC tools
• Build reusable agent components, templates, and technical patterns for scalable Agentic PDLC
• Integrate agents with PDLC and IT4IT tooling (code repositories, backlog, CI/CD, testing tools, technical documentation, observability, ITSM)
• Develop APIs, connectors, and data exchange mechanisms between agents, the AI platform, and engineering tools
• Implement RAG using requirements, architecture/technical documentation, source code, test results, operational data, and IT knowledge bases
• Prepare agents/components for safe production deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
• Collaborate with product, development, architecture, AI platform, DevSecOps, security, infrastructure, and IT Service Management teams
• Design test scenarios for agents to ensure correctness, reliability, and security of outputs
• Optimize prompts, context, workflow, and orchestration for quality and efficiency
• Implement evaluation, monitoring, auditability, and observability mechanisms for agents
• Design Human-in-the-Loop approval points and controls over agent actions in the software delivery cycle
• Measure impact on delivery time, quality, productivity, security, and stability; continuously improve
• Co-create Agentic PDLC standards, guardrails, and practices; build reusable libraries of agents and deployment patterns
• Document solutions and operational rules; maintain and grow an Agentic PDLC knowledge base
• Track Agentic AI technology advances and recommend practical approaches for software engineering and IT operations

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience designing, building, or maintaining IT solutions in a software development environment
• Very good Python knowledge; hands-on experience building REST APIs and system integrations
• Practical knowledge of PDLC/SDLC processes and tools for backlog, code repositories, testing, CI/CD, DevOps, or DevSecOps
• Knowledge of application architecture, integration patterns, and production deployment/monitoring/maintenance principles
• Experience with cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure; basic containerization knowledge
• Practical knowledge of Generative AI and LLM integration, including Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, RAG, Tool Calling, and workflow orchestration
• Ability to design evaluation, observability/monitoring, guardrails, and Human-in-the-Loop mechanisms for AI-based solutions
• Ability to analyze how IT teams work and identify automation opportunities with AI agents
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and collaborate with product, development, and IT operations teams
