Description

Design and develop a local AI Platform architecture, ensuring a consistent and secure integration with the existing enterprise IT environment. Create and align integration solutions connecting AI platform components with systems, services, data sources, IAM, networking, monitoring, and related IT elements. Apply Security-by-Design, perform architecture reviews, and advise on GenAI/agent capabilities including LLM patterns, AI Gateway, RAG, tool calling, orchestration, evaluation, and Human-in-the-Loop.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the local AI Platform architecture and ensure secure integration with existing IT

• Adapt reference standards and platform capabilities to local infrastructure constraints

• Develop and align integration solutions for AI platform components across IT, data, network, IAM, and monitoring

• Analyze local technical needs, dependencies, and architectural constraints affecting platform growth

• Plan and support new AI platform functionalities and component expansions

• Ensure scalability, reliability, and architectural consistency as AI solutions grow

• Apply Security-by-Design and implement access/identity, secret protection, network segmentation, private communication, API protection, data protection, monitoring, and auditability

• Analyze architectural and security threats, especially around agent access to data/tools/systems and information flow

• Collaborate with AI Security Engineer on security mechanism design and verification

• Provide architectural support and technology guidance to AI platform solution teams

• Translate business/technical use-case requirements into components, functionalities, and architectural patterns

• Conduct architecture reviews and assess proposed designs against platform standards and capabilities

• Coordinate dependencies between local and central platform components; document decisions and deviations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Platform Architect, Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, or similar senior architectural roles

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, especially Microsoft Azure

• Experience designing technology platforms and integrating them into enterprise environments

• Knowledge of AI platform architecture including GenAI and Agentic AI; ability to design AI-based solutions

• Experience with LLM-related concepts and components: AI Gateway, RAG, Context Engineering, Tool Calling, agent orchestration, Human-in-the-Loop, evaluation, observability

• Strong system integration architecture knowledge: application communication, APIs, containerization

• Practical cloud security and Security Architecture knowledge covering IAM, Least Privilege, Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC, service identities, managed identities, secret management, network segmentation, private connectivity, TLS, API security, data protection, logging, monitoring, and auditability

• Ability to assess AI/agent security risks (prompt injection, data leakage, excessive permissions, agent access to tools and systems)

• Experience performing architecture/design reviews and documenting architectural decisions

• Ability to analyze technology dependencies and evaluate trade-offs between use-case requirements and platform constraints

• Ability to collaborate with Development, Security, Cloud, Network, Data, and Enterprise Architecture teams

• Very good English skills for working with international teams
