Description

Senior Business Analyst to support regulatory reporting initiatives in the banking sector. You will analyze and implement regulatory requirements, improve reporting processes, reduce manual adjustments, and support regulatory remediation by translating regulatory rules into business and data requirements. The role works closely with business and IT teams, with a strong focus on SQL, data warehouse solutions, financial data, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and implement new business and regulatory reporting requirements
• Translate regulatory reporting rules and validation logic into business and data requirements
• Support regulatory remediation activities and ensure alignment with supervisory expectations
• Identify opportunities to automate manual, file-based processes and reduce manual adjustments
• Act as a liaison between business and IT stakeholders across cross-functional teams
• Analyze banking and financial data using SQL
• Contribute to the design and improvement of data warehouse and reporting solutions
• Model and optimize business processes using established business process modelling techniques
• Translate complex datasets and statistical concepts into clear business insights
• Prepare and maintain requirements documentation in Confluence
• Manage tasks and project activities in Jira
• Engage with stakeholders at different organizational levels and ensure clear communication and alignment

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of banking regulatory reporting processes and frameworks
• Solid understanding of banking products, systems, processes, and financial data
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements analysis and requirements engineering
• Experience in business process modelling and process optimization
• Ability to analyze and translate regulatory requirements into clear business and data requirements
• Understanding of reporting rules, validation logic, and supervisory requirements
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with financial and reporting data
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and reporting solutions
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Good understanding of Data Literacy principles
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
