Description

Manage and operate a data center network product based on Cisco ACI and Nexus. Ensure smooth operational execution across the lifecycle, including on-call support for major incidents and participation in change management. Perform upgrades, troubleshooting, monitoring optimization, and required operational/compliance activities in a regulated (banking) environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI and Nexus

• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (evenings, nights, weekends, public holidays)

• Execute ACI fabric upgrades and manage the firmware lifecycle

• Respond to incidents and resolve higher-level tickets

• Perform planned maintenance during non-core hours

• Configure and optimize event monitoring systems

• Monitor network capacity and identify bottlenecks

• Execute vulnerability management practices

• Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)

• Participate in compliance audits

• Identify and implement continual service improvements

• Manage service requests within the defined process

• Participate in disaster recovery exercises

• Support knowledge transfer and improve documentation

• Follow security protocols required in banking environments

Requirements

• Deep technical knowledge of Cisco ACI and Nexus operating systems

• Cisco CCNA or Cisco CCNP Data Center certification (CCNP preferred for senior roles)

• Several years of operational experience in data center environments

• Strong team and communication skills in an international setup

• Familiarity with ITIL processes in regulated environments

• Fluency in English; German is a plus
