• Location: Poland (ideally Tricity: Gdańsk/Gdynia); optional Warsaw; mandatory 3 days/week in the office

Description

You will strengthen the Equity DevOps area by supporting Nordea’s equity trading platforms and their application maintenance lifecycle. The role focuses on keeping trader-facing services running smoothly while improving performance, refining legacy flows, and modernizing the trading applications. You will collaborate with development and trading teams and manage automation and business flow monitoring for supported applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver component upgrades in the Front Arena space
• Refine decoupling of legacy flows (Front Arena)
• Improve performance of OMNI and Front Arena
• Handle complex issues by involving multiple teams
• Work with Incident, Change and Problem Management
• Simplify and modernize trading applications continuously
• Manage automation projects for supported applications and environments
• Maintain and expand business flow monitoring
• Create and update the knowledge base
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with traders
• Translate business requirements into IT language and ensure timely delivery
• Participate in multiple area projects
• Communicate with vendor support teams

Requirements

• Business understanding of Order Management Systems (Electronic Trading) in the Capital Markets domain
• Hands-on Python experience
• Ability to support business-critical applications in a high-pace environment
• Basic understanding of application/development lifecycle
• Analytical problem-solving mindset and effective communication
• Flexibility across operations, development, and analysis work
• Interest in how trading backend systems work
• Ability to prioritize and self-manage workload

Technical Stack

• Must-have: Front Arena (or deep knowledge of the equity trading domain), FIX protocol knowledge, CI/CD pipelines experience
• Nice-to-have: SQL (intermediate), Monitoring
