Description

You will monitor and analyze security vulnerabilities using Wazuh, maintain the Wazuh monitoring environment, and investigate security incidents with actionable remediation recommendations. The role also covers vulnerability cleanup, deploying security patches to servers and database systems, Linux/Windows Server administration, security log analysis, and security/hardening reporting. You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and systems teams and participate in security audits and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security vulnerabilities using Wazuh
• Configure and maintain the Wazuh environment and security monitoring mechanisms
• Analyze security incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Remediate discovered vulnerabilities and security threats
• Implement security patches on servers and database systems
• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows Server server environments
• Analyze system, application, and security logs
• Work with development teams, infrastructure teams, and system administrators
• Prepare security reports and hardening recommendations
• Participate in security audits and compliance activities
• Develop procedures for security monitoring and incident response

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of the Wazuh platform
• Experience monitoring and analyzing security vulnerabilities
• Ability to remediate vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions
• Good knowledge of Linux server environments and Windows Server
• Knowledge of OS hardening concepts
• Good knowledge of Oracle Database
• Knowledge of SQL and basic database administration
• Experience installing security patches and performing system updates
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including CVE, CVSS, and vulnerability management
• Ability to analyze logs and diagnose security issues
• Knowledge of Git for version control
• Independence and good work organization
• Analytical thinking
