Lead and optimize the testing function to ensure high-quality product releases by developing test strategies, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement in testing processes and tools. Manage and mentor a QA team, collaborate with delivery stakeholders, and lead test automation using an AI mindset for continuous efficiencies. Ensure comprehensive testing coverage across the test lifecycle, including data integrity validation and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and best practices aligned to project goals and business objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of test engineers and QA professionals.
• Improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead test automation efforts and promote automation frameworks; introduce AI-minded initiatives for ongoing testing efficiencies.
• Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to align testing with timelines and requirements.
• Ensure testing activities comply with quality standards and track/report testing progress and quality metrics.
• Identify and mitigate testing-related risks for project deadlines.
• Collect/analyze data to find trends and improvements; validate data integrity, transformation logic, and source-to-target reconciliation.
• Manage relationships with external vendors/suppliers when applicable.

Requirements

• 15+ years of QA experience in Agile and Waterfall model environments, managing large complex projects.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for ETL and data migration.
• Ability to strategize and execute end-to-end testing capability in a practical manner.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and test management tools for requirements traceability, test plans, test labs, and defect management.
• Experience with unit, smoke/sanity, functional, system, SIT, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Ability to create scalable framework design applied across multiple teams.
• Troubleshoot team issues implementing test frameworks and provide hands-on guidance when needed.
• Willingness to perform hands-on testing as required.
• Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related) or equivalent experience.
